This past weekend, Thunder 14U showcased their determination and skill at the “Battle of the Bats” tournament in Logansport, Indiana. Although the tournament started off with a setback, the team’s resilience and hard work led them to an impressive victory.
The tournament began with a tough loss in the first game of bracket play, where nothing seemed to go right. The team struggled to find their rhythm, resulting in an early defeat. Kaleigh contributed significantly with a .429 batting average and scoring 10 runs. Mollie was a force on the mound, pitching 20 innings and striking out 12 batters.
