Thunder 14U – Mince Shines at Diamond Divas Tournament
The Thunder 14U – Mince team recently embarked on an action-packed weekend at the Diamond Divas Tournament in Wabash, Indiana, leaving an indelible mark with their unwavering determination and impressive performances.
The tournament was no walk in the park, with the team playing a staggering 7 games over the course of 15 intense hours. Despite the grueling schedule and having only two pitchers, the team displayed remarkable resilience and teamwork throughout.
One of the standout achievements was securing third place in the tournament, a testament to their skills and competitive spirit. This achievement was particularly commendable considering the challenging circumstances they faced.
Individual performances also sparkled on the field. Grace, with her remarkable .750 batting average and impressive 3 doubles and a homerun, showcased her hitting prowess. Kayleigh’s .500 batting average and 5 stolen bases highlighted her speed and agility on the bases. Olivia, on the pitching mound, struck out an impressive 15 batters in 15 innings, demonstrating her prowess as a reliable pitcher.
The tournament was a true test of their endurance and dedication, as they played numerous games over long hours, ultimately coming just one win short of playing for the championship. It’s a valuable lesson that hard work pays off and the best is yet to come.
